As photos depict, it has never even been put together. We bought this thinking we would sell mats of our artwork --- see our profile --- but business developed in other ways, namely that we no longer were going to make large prints of our artwork when a deal on a large format printer didn't work out and we found someone else to do both printing and matting. In other words, it never came out of the box and we really have no use for it. The photos also include pictures of what the parts look like right out of the box. It can use large format matboard of 40"x60".  The Logan 760 Simplex Plus Mat Cutter provides quality and ease of use. Features include dual guide rail stops for fast production mat cutting, a 27" squaring arm for easy material downsizing, parallel mat guide for setting border widths up to 5-1/2", durable laminated surface, straight cutting head, and bevel cutting head. Includes matting instructions.   Unlike mat cutters that cost less, the Simplex Plus provides all the features necessary to cut mats neatly and efficiently, without waste or delay. The key feature is the 26" squaring arm. A scaled aluminum bar set at a right angle to the guide rail, the squaring arm allows for fast, accurate sizing of full size sheets. If there is one important feature that prospective mat cutter buyers consistently overlook - much to their later disappointment - it is the ability to reduce full size sheets of matboard squarely to size before bevel cutting a window in them.
