With the extruder you will be able to create new, innovative and more creative works.It is also a great tool for production, need a couple hundred feet of mug handles, no problem! !!!!12 free die shapes included free at no additional charge!!!! 3 steel plates with 4 shapes each plus the mask plate to put over top.You get 4 sizes of rounds, 2 sizes of coils, 2 sizes of mug handles, plus a square, hexagon, oval & oblong. The extruder is of steel construction with the exception of the plunger plate which is cut from high density polyethylene. The extruder barrel is 4" square and holds aprox. 12 lb's of clay. Overall dimensions of the extruder with the handle removed is 36" x 9" x 6". Extruding is near effortless due to the incredible leverage from the 3' long handle.The 4" square extruder size is very common and is offered by many manufacturers, there dies will fit just fine. Dies are of course easy and quick to make from sheet metal, wood or plastic. When you make your own die shapes you are only limited by your imagination. Also, if you would prefer to have a custom die made I can do that for you, just send me a message. Unusual die shapes, hollow dies, etc... all can be custom made to include with your extruder.
