Description
CorelDraw's Wilcom DecoStudioe1 embroidery digitizing software currently has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1999.00 (that's $2000.00 in my book). For complete details on the software package see: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/us/en/Product/1200071932142#tabview=tab0 Or, visit the Wilcom website at: http://www.wilcom.com.au/PRODUCTS/DecoStudio.aspx This software package contains a fully functional verson of CorelDraw Graphics Suite X3 in addition to the digitizing software program Wilcom DecoStudioe1 (the e1 stands for Version 1). According to Wilcom, this digitizing software program is meant to be an entry-level embroidery digitizing program, designed to allow for automatic conversion of graphics files and pictures into embroidery designs and can be coupled with other graphics formats to allow for both embroidery and printing onto garments. The CorelDraw Graphics Suite X3 contains a comprehensive CLIPART library which can be installed on your hard drive as well, plus a plethora of True Type Fonts (they can be digitized into embroidery designs, too). The program contains a User's Manual and examples to walk you through learning to use the software. DecoStudioe1 is fully integrated with CorelDraw Graphics Suite X3-you can digitize Corel drawings easily. Manual digitizing modalities are also available. If you own a graphics business and wish to expand into embroidery, this may be your solution. The program writes embroidery files in all of the formats used by today's industrial and home embroidery machines--see the full description on either the CorelDraw or Wilcom websites. ADDENDUM: BECAUSE I AM GETTING SO MANY QUESTIONS: This is a USED product. It is NOT BRAND NEW and the BOX HAS BEEN OPENED. The box will contain a CD for installing the Wilcom DecoStudioe1, a dongle which is necessary to run the program (the embroidery part, not the CorelDraw Graphics Suite--it runs without the dongle), a set of two booklets about the CorelDraw Suite and an advertisement that was in the original package (for free software when you register the product with Wilcom). The dongle IS CURRENTLY REGISTERED with Wilcom and Wilcom will TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF SAME from the seller to the new owner via email (I will supply the email address for such transfer to the new owner and send my notice of ownership transfer to Wilcom the same day the item ships). To the best of my knowledge there is no charge for transfer of ownership--they have transferred ownership in the past without charge. If there is, I will pay it. I am not a professional in embroidery and I am not a dealer (I don't think the dealers are allowed to sell this product on eBay). I learned a different digitizing program before I bought this program. The commands of the two conflict and make it impossible for me to switch between them (for example, to manually digitize a line in the first program, the left mouse makes a straight line and the right mouse makes a curved line, while in the DecoStudio the right mouse undoes the input from the left mouse). If this were a new, unopened product, I would not be selling it for this price.
