This wool washes to a wonderful luscious feel and soft white. This raw wool fleece is from 100% registered Merino sheep. The sheep are professionally sheared and double skirted, belly wool removed. They were covered part of the year, but do contain some vegetation. The fiber is strong . They have been micron tested. The feed back has been gracious and positive on past fleece sales. The Lanolin in these fleeces sometimes gives an orange cast to the pictures, but I have washed a small piece and it cleans up wonderfully.   NOTE: Additional Shipping and Payment and Check out instructions.  Due to the US increase in USPS zone and dimensional costs all wool will be sent compressed in a flat rate priority box.  The wool will return to normal when fluffed out.
