Tops is made up of vintage textiles from the late 1800's to about the 1940's. I would call it a progressive quilt,meaning it probably had more that one author. The fabric was collected over time and at some point pieced into the top. I bought the top on ebay last year and added cotton muslin backing and cotton batting. It has a feedsack binding of blue plaid. I machine quilted it on my long arm quilt machine using a feather design. I can provide a close up of the back that shows the quilt design. Just e-mail me for additional photos. It fits a double bed down to the bottom of a standard mattress. It measures 73"X84". The top does have some small stains that in no way detract from it's beauty in my opinion. I have had great luck removing them with a good soak in Oxi-Clean.
