This is a lovely floral design by Pearl McGown's Granddaughter, Jane McGown Flynn.   If you love to hook flowers, you have 15 different flowers to do.  They include Anemone, Gardina, Peony, Phlox, Camellia, Aster, Cosmos, Iris, Poppy, Petunia, Nasturtium, Parrot Tulip, Day Lily, Chrysanthimum, and Foxglove.  Each flower is surrounded by olive leaf (?) fronds.  This has been started with #3 cut wools which are hand dyed.  I am including with this auction the wools that were used for the existing hooked area plus other wools that will compliment.  You may choose to take the present hooking out and do your thing with it, but you will be able to go either way with this. Condition:  Very Good - strong Scottish Jute (burlap) backing with no breaks. Please see photos - I have darkened some of the lines with permanent marker for clearer photography. ~~~~~~~~~~~~   This will not be returnable because it is part of the 'cleaning out' of my extensive rug hooking pattern collection that I am finally realizing that I couldn't finish if I came back in a second life.  BUT they have been loved and protected from exposures of any sort while in my care.  I describe items to the very best of my ability.
