It is a treasure chest or storage chest. This chest measures about 14.5" x 10" x 8". These are inside measurements. This chest has been stored awhile. It is a little dirty, but a little sanding will take care of that. The chest has two handles. These have lost their shine or are tarnished from having been stored. This wooden chest has a small tray inside(see photo).  It has a latch on the front and a chain from the top to the side (inside).
