The fibers have been picked together which allows the different characteristics of the fibers to stand out against each other; the smooth softness of the llama with the mohair wipes feathering about all held together by a very soft Coopworth wool.Tonka is dominantly a dark blue shade. Throughout her are streams of dark red and dark green and purple. Threads of a light, grayish color streak though Tonka which allows the other dark colors to stand out against.Tonka is ideal to use as a foundation that you want to work other colors off of. Tonka is a sturdy, no nonsense blend. She is beautiful but not inclined to be all frilly and distracting. Tonka will make a beautiful sweater, hat, shawl or scarf when worked up by herself. Different color shades show up depending on the light.
