Or Knot to Be To Be... Or Knot to Be is a 79 page tatting manual that grew out of a need, as we taught years of tatting classes. We could find few instructional materials for students that included clear and thorough step-by-step instructions. This also became a practice tool at home when our students were not in class. This book is comb bound for easy handling with pictures and illustrations. The manual will walk you through the process step by step. The majority of the manual is devoted to the learning the art of tatting. The one pattern that is covered is Hazel's doily. The front cover of the manual displays the finished pattern. Jennifer grew up on her grandmother's knee watching her tat. She never could slow down enough to teach the art and pass it on. We have encountered numerous men and women, who have been creating the art by rote for many years, but they were unable to slow down their process enough to pass on the art. Many of these accomplished tatters had never learned to read instructions. This book is available in quantities if needed as a resource for a class.
