This will stop the stretching, and makes for a nicer looking quilt.I do not tie off the quilt. All layers are sewn together(quilted). I stitch in the ditch along the shirt squares. This makes for a stronger quilt. When I'm done I will mail you back your one of a kind memory quilt. I can use t-shirts, sweatshirts, receiving blankets, onsies, fabric jackets, any fabric items you have. This is also a beautiful way to remember your love ones that have passed....nana's apron, papa's flannel shirt, or other items of clothing.
