Now THAT'S a REDUCTION!   Unique, handcrafted heirloom quality walking sticks are the perfect gift for anyone who needs the use of one. Ask anyone who needs one or watch the older fellows (and a surprising number of women) at the Mall comparing their sticks and you will find that having a “cool stick” to those who do not drive and so have no use for that Ferrari, having a unique and interesting stick is comparable to showing off their “wheels”. They are often collected like cars and cared for as any car collector would care for their collection. …Racing them is optional of course and dependant upon how seriously they are about their sticks   So, if you are looking for that great gift for Grandpa or Uncle Joe, Grandma or Aunt Jane, K-Mart is probably not where they would want you to pick-up their new stick.   Also I hate to be the one to have to say it, however it is unfortunately true that “ the times they are a-changin’ “, it is no longer the nice safe days of our youth and the difference between that quiet afternoon stroll and a trip to the emergency room may just be the presence of a functional yet formidable looking walking stick.  Some “people” (is that the correct word?) much prefer their Lil ol’ Lady’s (or men, both also referred to as “TARGETS”) to appear defenseless, as in not appearing to be able to inflict any serious damage.   Michael Masias’ walking sticks are created out of a variety of exotic hardwoods, all are crafted by hand and sight, as no lathe is used in their making.   Suitable for either a Gentleman or a Lady, this is a very nice light reddish colored wood and nicely patterned. No spirals to this, just nice and simple.
