Description
Untitled Document This is a 1 pint kit of silicone molding compound. Silicone moldmaking materials are used extensively to create molds that will produce exact replicas of lifecastings and other objects used in sculpture, special effects, taxidermy, and craft making. Some of the materials you can cast into a silicone mold are: urethane plastic, epoxy, polyester resin(fiberglass resin), plaster, soap, wax, and low melt metals just to name a few. No release agent is needed when casting into a silicone mold but it will extend the life of the mold. It is the recommended material for making long-lasting molds. Our silicone moldmaking compounds consist of two components. A liquid base and a catalyst or curing compound. If you have any questions, feel free to email us. Thank you for your interest in our products.
