The press is built rock solid from press brake formed 1/8" steel plate and weighs 13 pounds. It bolts down to a work bench using four 1/4" hex bolts, and it's compact enough to tuck away easily when not in use. The platen measures 15 X 17, has radiused corners so your shirts won't snag, and is made from 3/4" high density industrial particle board (nova ply) and  laminated with Nevamar brand heat resistant countertop laminate. We use the original K.G. Barnes "Jiffy Clamp" screen clamps to hold the screen securely, and the press uses a spring and eyebolt screen hold up system (both included). This auction is for the press only, but optional accessories include a two capacity screen rack, aluminum micro registration brackets for printing additional colors, and  short/long sleeve t-shirt sleeve platens. You can start out doing one color work and make a little money, then upgrade it later on to expand your capabilities and increase it's earning potential. So this is a great little press to start out and grow with, and you should be able to recover your initial investment in just a couple of jobs.
