Look in the second picture; there is a sample of the 1mm cotton cord in it, surrounded by a 4-ply twisted braid that took me about 30 seconds to make. Really! Instructions include techniques for beaded rope and bullion trim (simulates the Bullion embroidery stitch), as well as how to lay out yarns for a two-color rope. You can use twine, yarn, silk, cotton, leather, linen, macrame, or many other types of cords, up to about 2mm in diameter. You can also make a beaded cord—instructions tell you how to do that too. Comes with the Spinster tool pictured, plus instructions. It's not too big, about 5½ inches long. You can really have your first braid completed one minute after you open the package!
