The wood has NO cracks or other major imperfections, you will find fiber, minor scrapes and bumps from use.    They are in very good solid working condition.     Wool carders have 72 points per square inch and are an excellent all purpose carder for carding any type of wool.    The wooden backs measure 8 inches x 4  5/8 inches.    They are curved back (most spinners preferring the curved back carders).     Maple turned handle that provides a comfortable grip for both small and large hands.
