It is packaged in 3 wood trays with foam inserts in a wooden box. Many of the colors have never been used. Rembrandt extra fine soft pastels are world-renowned for their pure pigments, high degree of lightfastness, unique warmth, and velvety softness. This softness is achieved by the use of kaolin, a clear china clay. Rembrandt pastel chalks are ideal for layering techniques. Their softness allows them to be applied over existing layers of pastel and not move the color. Full sticks measure 2-3/4" long × 7/16" diameter (70 mm × 11 mm), and are paper-wrapped.
