Description
This is what you're bidding on. You're bidding on 10 50gm balls of Rowan Yarns Kid Soft yarn. The colour "Navy Blue" isn't shown on the bag but the shade number is 756. The yarn is still in the packaging I received it in, but it isn't the usual packaging, as it has plastic handles. However, the yarn appears untouched, except for the one ball I've had to remove to get the necessary information (that's the trouble with discontinued yarns when they don't position the labels so you can read them through the plastic). The yarn (and all its friends) has always lived in a smoke-free house. I can't say that it was a pet-free house but I was (and am) careful to keep all my yarns (think of a stash the size of a small car) protected from my various hairy friends. Techie SpecsThe yarn is a mixture of 35% extra fine merino, 40% kid mohair and 25% nylon. The gauge is 15 to 17 stitches and 20 to 22 rows on a 10 cm square, using 5 to 5.5 mm needles (6 to 5 for the UK and 8 to 9 for the US). Each ball is approximately 125 metres (135 yards) long. This is definitely a hand wash only yarn.Things you need to knowThe sooner you pay, the sooner you get your stuff. I accept payment by Direct Deposit, PayPal or Money Order from Australian bidders. My preference is for PayPal, because it's quick and I don't have to wonder why the bank's given me $AU54.50 (or whatever). For international bidders, it's PayPal only so please make sure you're signed up.If, for any reason, there will be a delay before you can pay me (waiting for payday, surrounded by floodwaters, whatever) just let me know. I don't mind waiting as long as you stay in touch. For international buyers, I charge you what Australia Post charges me to send the package airmail so, please, don't think I'm making a profit on the postage. It's just that Australia is a long way away from most places. Personally, I blame tectonic drift. You can choose to pay for insurance as well, which is calculated on the cost of the item being sent. Insurance provides coverage against loss, theft or damage. The service provides proof of posting, secure handling and a signature on delivery. You can choose Extra Cover for up to $5000 (some countries have a limit lower than $5000). Where available, the Extra Cover fee is $8.10 plus $2.15 per $100, or part thereof, up to $5,000.Once you have paid, I will post your item as soon as possible. So, if you want it to go to a different address than the one on eBay, I need to know right away. If your item fits in a postal satchel (along with a vast amount of bubble wrap, if required), I will post the same or next day. If it has to be packed in a box or bubble wrap mailer, I will take it to the post office on the next available day. I can work out the postage myself and cover the box with the stamps, but I've found that a box with the official post office print-out on it seems to get delivered faster. If the item is being posted internationally, I have to go to the post office and produce ID, so it's a next business day proposition as well.In any case, I will email you to let you know that I've posted your parcel.Other thingsI don't have a problem if you have a zero eBay feedback rating (as long as it's not as a result of negative feedback). We all started with zero ratings. If you are new to eBay, don't be afraid to ask about anything to do with bidding or buying or anything else, for that matter (though the eBay Support Centre is very good).  _gsrx_vers_236 (GS 5.0.3 (236))
