The rotation is powered by two "D" size batteries (not included) that will function for over 14 days of continuous use provided top quality alkaline batteries are used. Beautifully finished, the smooth mirrored top has an elegant bevel on the edge and the sides are covered in bands of mosaic mirrors.    The top diameter measures 12 inches and it stands only 3-1/8 inches high. There is an on-off switch on the side. Although it is not equipped with an AC adapter, there is a port in the side of the unit that permits the addition of one. The unit comes in a convenient cardboard box that can be used for storage. This is a good-looking way to draw attention to a favorite collectible or to use in a store promotion to focus attention on a special feature.
