Description
Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This is a kit of three grits and a polish compound. You get 5 ounces of each of Course (80) grit, Medium (240), and Fine (600) grit, plus 3 ounces of Tripoli polish compound. All the grits and polish are packaged in nice plastic tubs with snap on sealed lids. This sure beats the plastic baggies most sellers put their grit in! The containers are fully reuseable, and come in handy for storing small items or hardware after you use up the grit. We sell only brand new, virgin 3M or Norton brand grit. We *never* sell reclaimed or industrial reject material, our stuff is made for lapidary use, first quality material, This is "The good stuff" We use only GRADED GRIT. This means that the grit is all one size. 80 grit means that all the grit in that package is size 80, not 60-80 MIXED GRITS that many other sellers give you. The finer the grit, the MORE IMPORTANT it is that you get GRADED GRIT. 240 grit is a uniform product, UNGRADED 180-260 is a mish mosh of sizes. The larger particles simply scratch the work the finer particles have done! It works against itself. UNGRADED GRIT is a mix of sizes, its a cheaper, inferior product. We could get it and make more money selling it, but we won't. Never have, never will. We do not use it, nor do we sell it. Don't trust your precious stones to cheap ungraded grits, insist that all your grits be GRADED! Its your right to get the highest quality material available. You will get it here. E have been in the lapidary (rock & gem polishing) business since the mid 1960's! My dad had one of the first rock shops in Wisconsin, and I've been raised in the business. We want you to have the best, shinyest (is that a word shiny-est?) stones possible. We give you a 4 page booklet that walks you through the process of tumbling. We tell you how to do it, how much grit and polish to use, how long to run the unit, EVERYTHING! We even tell you a tip that will save you a bundle on plumbing repair in case you were going to dump the old grit slurry down the drain. Buyer to pay Priority Mail shipping cost from chart above. If you wish, insurance can be purchased for 1.30 for the first $50.- in value, and an additional 1.00 for each additional $50.- value. If you don't get insurance ,we won't be responsible for loss or damage in shipping. As in any auction, all items are sold as-is, with no warranty unless explicitly stated in the item description. Shipping charges are not refundable. Any actions must be settled in and under the Wisconsin legal system. Payments must arrive within 14 days or we reserve the right to void the auction and resell the item. Pay me securely with any major credit card through PayPal! Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
