Description
"Garden Party" Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvas +Threads and more! This is a true stunner. I am just in love with this design and thread lot! The design is called "Garden Party" and is hand painted on 13 count Deluxe Mono Canvas from Zweigart. It is by Quail Run Designs and their work is exceptional. There are 15 different panels in this design. The colors harmonize together beautifully and is is just lovely. The very first panel does have one leaf that has basketweave on it. The stitching is beautiful and you could leave it or easily pull it out if you wanted a different stitch there. Each panel shows a different flower and greenery around it. This rug design could be finished for a floor or for a wall hanging. It measures 22 x 36 and is mounted on K's Creations Wood Scroll rods. Side bars are also included as is a needle threader. The thread lot included is just dizzying! Includes an incredible stunning lot of Silk & Ivory Thread from Brown Paper Packages. A total of 106 skeins! (At $4.90 each this is $519 just for the thread!) This supple thread is made of 50% silk and 50% Merino Wool. It is made in Switzerland and is just such a pleasurable thread to work with. The colors included have been professionally matched to the painted canvas. Each quadrant of the canvas is number from 1 to 15 and the corresponding threads are bagged in numbered bags. You will LOVE this piece and will LOVE stitching it. MANY more books and canvases in my other auctions. Non-smoking, pet-free home. A closer view of the design: Beautifully painted!
