It includes everything you need to complete this 10   X 15   inch Primitive Hooked Rug which is drawn on cotton monks cloth. It's a pretty simple design with a great mix of beautiful wools, mostly hand dyed. The sheep is hooked with oatmeal and black and the star with my own dyed golden mustard. The background is hooked with a mixture of my primitive darks and for a finishing touch I added a row of deep red. Hooked up this kit would make a nice wall hanging, table centerpiece or primitive pillow top. These hooked rugs look great hanging from pieces of country furniture as well. Color Photo of Completed Rug Comprehensive Rug Hooking Instructions Color Key # 8 Cut Wool Strips Pattern Hand Drawn on cotton monks cloth (2X2 grid) sealed at the edges to prevent fraying.  Rug Binding for the Finished Rug Care has been taken in the packaging of this kit. It comes in an very sturdy oversized zip lock bag that's most convenient for taking it out and putting it away at your leisure. If this is your first project I would suggest a quilting hoop frame which can be purchased at any fabric store. There are more user friendly and costly frames available, but I did my first couple of rugs on a quilting hoop and then graduated to the more expensive frame. I haven't included a hook with this kit because I find that most people interested in this hobby already have one, but if you don't and are in need of one, I have solid maple Moshimer hooks available for $6.00 with any kit purchase.
