This locker hooked rug measures about 11” wide x 34 1/4” long with an inch border. I hooked the border in a lovely cream & brown homespun plaid with a hint of burgundy & green along with a solid chocolate brown. For the house I used a black print for the roof, a grey print for the windows & a burnt orange solid for the door. The front of the house was pale yellow cotton until I had fun dying fabrics! It is now as you see a tannish shade, the side view is muslin & I had dyed this brown at the same time as the “yellow”. On each side of the house I created some silly flower. They were hooked using a burgundy homespun solid & a solid maroon. They’re centers are a mustard floral print with curlicues done in an indigo print.
