Description
Prazi SD300 Mini LatheRetails $2300 The Prazi SD300 Masterturn 5" x 12" lathe was specifically designed to meet the exacting needs of machinists, serious hobbyists, mechanics, vocational and technical schools, medical, dental, optical, electrical and scientific laboratories. The SD300 Headstock has adjustable spindle tapered roller bearings with spindle accuracy of .0002". The SD300 weighs 97 lbs. net, has a precision ground bed with heavy-duty bed and headstock construction. Both cross slide and top slide have fully adjustable gibs for maintaining consistent accuracies. Taper turning is performed with standard top  slide. Standard equipment includes: lathe bed, headstock, tailstock, saddle with adjustable cross slide and adjustable top slide, 4 way turret tool post, tool bit, automatic power longitudinal feed, 3.00" diameter 3-jaw precision chuck, 2 sets of jaws, 1 MT dead center, 9 piece change gear set for inch/metric threads, tool kit, chuck guard, operations and parts manual, 110V electric Condition Notes:This tool has some shipping damage, otherwise I think it's brand new. It came in still inside it's wooden crate, bolted down. I've plugged it in and it runs great. The automatic longitudinal feed works but I can't get it to reverse, could be the reverse switch needs to be replaced or just me not knowing what I'm doing. The black cover for the gears goes over them, opens and closes okay but not perfectly. There is a rod that connects from the yellow portion of the lathe into the gearbox cover, the "lock" which is broken. It screws into the yellow housing, should be easily replaceable or you can just do without. I've been running it without a problem. It looks like all the accesories are here, extra jaws dead center, gears, gaurd manual etc.are all still wrapped in OEM packaging.I've sold 4 of these since I started selling on ebay in 2004, (various seller ID's, same company), including dazesellsstuff, industryrecycles, and here on wastetocharity. I've never had a problem because I describe my items well. Please read some of my feedback. You will see many "as described" or better then described comments. I pack the heck out of my items for shipping as well. This item IS eligible for return, buyer pays all shipping charges.
