Regrettably, I must sell my PFAFF 2140/2170 Sewing Machine. It was a gift, and when I received it, the machine had been upgraded to 2170 Firmware. So it is indeed a Creative 2170 Pfaff, it is an amazing machine. It will take time, but please read through this auction to find all the specifics about this machine. Additional information, photos, and answers to questions will be posted as requested. Should you have an unanswered question, please feel free to contact me - I will respond as quickly as possible. This quality machine was my first and favorite machine. My husband bought the machine from his sister for me to sew. She purchased it new, but could not make time to use it, so she sold it to him. It is in nearly new mechanical condition with some light signs of use. I had the machine serviced last week at my local PFAFF shop ($150.00 value). I have used the machine approximately 89 hours since late December 07. The previous owner only used this Pfaff between 15 and 20 times, she guessed about 4-5 hours each time, at the most 100 hours. That is just about 200 hours total use on the machine. The embroidery unit was used for about ten of those hours. See the photos to assess the condition of this machine. Please ask all questions before bidding. We took the photos, and photography is part of our profession - they show the actual machine and accessories. They are not from a Pfaff brochure, I promise! What you should know about the 2140/2170 before bidding... This 2170 is one of Pfaff's highest level and quality sewing machines. The sewing and embroidery-capable Creative 2140/2170 is one of the most expensive computerized models offered; and is recommended for those with some sewing experience; however, I HAD NO EXPERIENCE SEWING when I got it – and this machine made it VERY EASY to learn to sew! Many seamstresses work their way up to this Pfaff model, trading in lesser machines and upgrading models over time. By the time you're considering the Creative 2140/2170, you probably have a good idea what you want from a sewing machine. I ONLY KNEW THAT I WANTED QUALITY and a machine with the ability to embroider, when my husband gave it to me as a Christmas gift. If you're looking at the Pfaff Creative 2140/2170, chances are what you want is the best of just about everything a sewing machine has to offer.
