It replaces the free-motion carriage  on your machine quilting frame. You simply put your sewing machine on top of the PC Quilter and it moves it around on your quilting frame. The BIG difference is that the PC Quilter is controlled by your home computer and is amazingly accurate! It comes with all the software you need to run the robot and digitize your own patterns This PCQ has been used gently and I have loved working with it. My husband surprised me by buying another product and I have no need to keep both. I personally have nothing bad to say about PCQ. There product works well and customer service was always very good when I was setting it up and had a couple questions. We placed a new upgrade chip in last summer. Everything that originally came with it I will send to you and I will give the puck with it also. Warranty does not transfer also you may want to ask PCQ about buying tech support.
