PA Dutch Designs~Patterns & Stencils Up for auction is this LOT of Pennsylvania Dutch books and folders full of patterns, stencils and information on Hexology and hex signs. Great items for tole painting! All are in great condition and I've included lots of pictures for a better view. None of the patterns are cut and no paint on any stencils, some yellowing from age. A scan (Other Publications Available) of a leaflet in the envelope gives great info on 4 of the 5 items included in this lot. I'll start with the 3 packets or folders. All are by Jane and Jacob Zook from Paradise in Lancaster County, PA with a copyright of 1964. These are 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" envelopes. Pennsylvania Dutch Patterns-50 all different designs with complete painting instructions. Folder II-200. Complete with the 3 large sheets of patterns. Legendary Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Sign Patterns-26 all different in size from 3 to 15" with complete painting instructions. Folder L-600. Again this is complete with the large 22" x 17" sheets of patterns. Pennsylvania Dutch Stencils-5 different cut stencils for decorating furniture, textiles, wooden ware, and metal ware. Complete painting instructions. Folder S-300. ***This is missing one stencil. HEXOLOGY-The History and The Meaning of the Hex Symbols by Jacob & Jane Zook, with comments and legends by Prof. Johnny Ott, Hexologist. This is a thin paperback  book with 15 pages, 12th printing 1978 from a 1962 copyright. This is 11" x 8 1/2" in like new excellent clean condition. Pennsylvania Dutch Cut & Use Stencils by JoAnne C. Day, copyright 1975. 47 full-size stencils printed on durable stencil paper/stock. This book is also 11" x 8 1/2" like new, unused and uncut, excellent clean condition. What a great lot!
