Description
Organize Your Fabric for Quilting Or Sewing ~48 Pieces~ Winner gets four dozen (48) white corrugated plastic fabric organizers.  Here is some information from a satisfied customer...who happens to be my sister.  :-)       "I have been a quilter for years, often raiding my stash shelves for fabric, only to end up at my local fabric store to purchase more because I cannot find what I am looking for and don't feel like digging.  I decided to get more organized so I could "shop" my stash instead of spending money on more fabric.  Initially, I thought about using a wood product to wrap my fabric around, but the weight, getting it cut, and the cost (as well as the potential for oils from the treated wood affecting my fabric) were prohibitive.  I even looked on-line for organizers, but could not afford the ones I found.  My sister who is in the sign business came up with the idea of coroplast, and using her equipment we were able to cut it.  There are major benefits to using this as a way to organize: It is lightweight, so it will not add excess weight to a bookcase shelf. Securing the fabric is easy with just a couple of paper-clips, plastic ones are readily available at an office supply store. Fabric can be stored vertically, which allows fabric to be pulled without messing up a whole stack. The size of the plastic sheet will fit on 12" bookcase shelves. I've been able to fit 15 yards of fabric on one sheet and as little as 3/4 yard. I can quickly tell how much fabric I have by counting how many times my fabric went around... so a round of four on each side means I have about 2 yards (since it is 8" a side) I can wrap all the fabric for one quilt top on one sheet so that I don't accidentally pull a fabric to use that was earmarked for another quilt.  I place the pattern on the sheet before wrapping so that I have the pattern with the quilt. I can reuse the sheets as I use up my stash.   Each sheet is approximately 8" x 11.75".  Coroplast is acid free, ROHS Compliant, and FDA approved. I fold my fabric selvage to selvage, then in half again to approximately 11" wide.  I fold the entire length before beginning to wrap it so as to avoid the fabric getting crooked.  Then, I start to wrap my fabric around the plastic.  When I get to the end of my fabric, I secure with two paper-clips.  Misty"     These can be easily shaped with a pair of kitchen scissors or an exacto knife.  You can round the corners, resize as needed, or cut notches to accomodate the dimensions of your fabric. They can also be custom sized, just email for a price quote.  Please look at my other auctions for larger or smaller quantities.  Please email me for a shipping quote for bulk orders.    This auction is for plastic organizers only and does not include any fabric or other items shown in the photos.  This auction is for one dozen WHITE organizers.  They are available in the colors shown in the last photo for $5 extra per auction.  Please specify if you want to upgrade to a custom color. Please email me for international shipping charges, with questions, or to see more photos.  Thanx! Please look closely at the photos, as they are the most important part of my listings.  Add additional quilting and craft patterns, books, music, DVDs, fishing hats, and many other items from my eBay store, for just $1 additional shipping per item! We accept PayPal, money orders, and certified funds. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close. We generally ship within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment. If the shipping quoted exceeds the actual shipping charges by a small margin, please be kind and understand that there is more to it than just the actual charges from the post office. Payment must be received within 7 days of the auction's close. We have been buying and selling on eBay now for 8 years. As you can see by our feedback, we have made every effort to ensure that everyone who does business with us has a pleasant experience.
