The case of the scabbard is buffed and burnished, with the mountings of the scabbard and Hilt of burnished gilt brass. There are no untoward marks nor blemishes on the the weapon. The condition of the blade, hilt, grip, guard and cross guard all are in good to very good condition. There are no apparent makers marks on the blade, cross guard or pommel. This weapon comes to me through auction in Detroit and it is one of the of few Odd  Fellows swords I have seen that are in this excellent a condition.
