The blocks become more advanced as the series progress, teaching a variety of basic skills to raise your skill level as you complete the blocks. Each of the compass blocks is named after the seas of the moon: Sea of Nectar, Sea of Moisture, Sea of Ingenuity, Sea of Tranquility, Sea of Rains, Sea of Fertility, Sea of Vapor, Sea of Clouds, Sea of Crisis, Sea of Serenity, Sea of Knowledge, and The Border Sea. The quilt is made up of fabrics from the Jinny Beyer  Palette. The blocks for the quilt can be made using hand-piecing, machine-piecing, piecing with freezer paper templates or paper piecing onto a foundation. See pattern #1 for details.   Special Note: You will receive your pattern sets by E-Mail so you can print them right on your home computer. There will be 12 e-mails involved to download from PDF files in full color as the originals. That way you have the pattern pieces on hand if you should mis-cut one. We have numbered the fabrics to match the original numbers so you won't have to worry about a thing. There are a few fabrics that are changed because of pattern changes in the Jinny Beyer Palette but they are the same colors as the original shadings so the overall look of the quilt is unchanged. The fabrics used in Moon Glow are all from the current Jinny Beyer Palette Collection and a couple of pieces of Moda or Blank fabrics to come up with the original shadings. The shadings of the colors produces a "moon glow" that gives the quilt a rich quality. Announcement! Patterns are now available in English & German language choices.
