It includes everything you need to complete this 9  X 23  inch Primitive Hooked Rug. Care has been taken in the packaging of this kit - it comes in a very sturdy zipper lock bag that's most convenient for taking it out and putting away at your leisure. It's a pretty simple design with a great mix of dyed and as is 100% wool strips - a mixture of brand new and washed and recycled wools stripped to a #8 size which is perfect for primitive rug hooking. The houses are done with primitive mustard,  rich red, and soft gray, each with a lovely contrasting trim. There are more user friendly and costly frames available, but I did my first couple of rugs on a quilting hoop and then graduated to the more expensive frame. I haven't included a hook with this kit because I find that most people interested in this hobby already have one, but if you don't and are in need of one, I have solid maple Moshimer hooks available for $6.00 with any kit purchase.
