Monk cloth is a foundation material preferred by many rug hooker. This pattern comes with a small picture (as seen along side in photo) of inspiration painting to aid in color planning and color placement. The possibilities for color planning are infinite look at other M Shaw paintings to get ideas for your color planning. Or go hog wild with texture and bright bold color. I will be drawing the patterns after they are sold, please excuse the delay, this gives me more versatility. I will get them out as quickly as possible. I can also draw them on linen instead of monk but there is a extra fee depending on the pattern size, inquire by e-mail.
