Just soak in water until decal easily slides from backing. Smooth onto surface. I used these to decorate bottles and boxes. Once they were dry, I applied 3 or 4 coats of glass glaze for bottles. Once they are cured (I think about 2-3 weeks), they are waterproof.   You can use any spray or paint on acrylic finish on boxes.
