The instructor first gives some background on their experience and preferences, then presents a number of subjects for painting--giving detailed instructions for the materials to use, colors, techniques, etc--and then provides full scale outline drawings of several of these which can be used for layouts. Finally, each of these chosen subjects has a full color painting by the artist so that one can compare their interpretation to the instructor's.
