Description
Description You are bidding on a HUGE lot of Acrylic and Watercolor paints. I am getting out of the painting business(and combining user id's), the wood art is taking over my studio and these were a bunch of left over tubes that are just taking up space; most are full but some have been opened and some has been used out of them. There are over 80 tubes of water colors from a variety of makers and within that are several tubes of Gouache and tubes that were 4-6.00 per 8ml tube; high end artists grade. There are 5 bottles of Windsor & Newton free flowing formula and 32 tubes of acrylic paint. Most are 200 ml tubes but the Liquitex, including the irridescents, are ~118 ml tubes. There are too many colors to list but you can get a good idea from the photos what the colors actually are. I am still cleaning out the studio and will add any more tubes that I come across that will fit in the box. This will ship in a large flat rate box but I will have to remove the watercolors from their sleeves to get them all in. About Me My name is Timothy LeMieux (pronounced lem-your) and I am a self-taught, full-time artist and have been so for the last 10 years. I paint, turn fine art bowls and vases, do wood sculpture and make functional wood products such as salad and fruit bowls, platters, cutting boards and custom butcher blocks. All of my work are original pieces of art and I spend a great deal of time and energy picking wood for it's uniqueness rather than it's abundance. More often than not I don't pick the wood with the most beauty but concentrate more on bringing out the natural beauty in every piece of wood I turn. What I love about artistic turnings and sculpture as opposed to functional wood products is that I get to think outside the box. I don't have to follow classic forms and this is where my creativity can run free. Some pieces spawn from ideas I have and then I pick wood that will work for that particular piece, but more often than not, I get an ordinary or extraordinary piece of wood, look at it and say "What is this going to be?" I always thought it was corny when I heard an artist say "The wood decides what it wants to be" but the physical shape, structure of the grain, burl or knots and inherent imperfections play an enormous role in what a piece CAN BE. Sometimes, I am just along for the ride and it excites me to no end when a beautiful piece of art emerges from a clunky piece of wood. Wood Finishes Wood products can have a variety of stains, penetrating oils/sealers, lacquer, polyeurathane or varnish, waxes and food safe finishes; I will specify when an item is food safe. I use professional quality, non-yellowing finishes on all my wood items and include care instructions for each type of finish. Shipping & Handling Due to the variable weight and sizes of my items, in most cases, I will use the shipping calculator for accuracy. I WILL NOT ship any item, no matter what the size is, by parcel post due to the potential for breakage. I charge only ACTUAL shipping and insurance is included in the price of shipping. . Combined Shipping Discount I am more than happy to combine shipping on multiple items, however, they have to be like items. Paintings can be shipped together and wood products and sculpture, in most cases, can be shipped together but to avoid damage paintings and wood products are not shipped together. Mail me if you have any questions about combined shipping, occasionally there are exceptions to the rule. Payment I accept Paypal, certified checks, money orders and personal checks. Personal checks accepted from U.S. customers only. Checks must clear before the item is shipped (approx. 7 business days). Payment must be received within 10 business days or the item will be relisted and appropriate feedback will be left. Refund Policy Full Refund (Excluding Shipping and Insurance). Please provide notice of return within 5 business days of receiving the item. Terms and Conditions An email will be sent to the buyer within 24 hours of winning an auction or purchasing an item via "Buy It Now". The end of auction email will be sent using the buyer's email address currently registered to their eBay account. Items are shipped using Paypal shipping and tracking notification will go to the e-mail address you have on your Paypal account, if it is different from your registered eBay address you may want to change one or the other to streamline the the buying process. Please make sure to read the item description completely and ask questions before bidding on or purchasing an item. An eBay member agrees to the terms and conditions in the description above once they purchase an item from The Oliver Tree Gallery. Contact Info I can be contacted through the "Contact Seller" and "Ask Seller a Question" link on my profile and any auction page or you can mail me directly at: tim22980@hotmail.com. If you would like to speak to me personally about any of my art send me a quick mail with your phone number and the best time to call you.
