This burner retails new for over $550 direct from the manufacturer. This torch is in great shape and works like new. Should bring the new owner many many years of trouble free use. The heads and arms are fully adjustable allowing it to be focused around the tube you are working on or can be focused on multible areas running up and down the tube. Because the arms and heads are adjustable this torch can accomodate small tubes- very large tubes.( and everything in between)  Poor quality pics ( arms appear darker in photo than really are, arms are shinier in person) This is a surface mix torch which is to be ran on gas (propane,nat gas or hydrogen) + oxygen. Because it is surface mix it does not need flash arrestors. All parts on this burner are replaceable allowing the user to repare/replace any needed part in house ( ie w/o sending the torch in)  It can be used on soft glass, boro or quartz ( depending on what gas you use or what application you need it for) In all honesty metal torches are inferior for working quartz ( you should use a torch made of quartz glass) but it will work.  This torch can be used on a glass lathe or on the bench ( however most people that work them on the bench use bench rollers, but use them w/o rollers) This torch can be used for working, annealing, prewarming, and warming glass tubes ( and rods). These burners make doing triple ring seals, double ring seals, or joint work, much easier. As far as other applications, glass artists and glass pipe makers have found these burners very beneficial to have. ( as well of course scientific glass blowers)   This torch does not include valves ( none of  burners do) rather they require valves to be mounted remotely, away from the burner.
