This lace color is red, the color goes all the way through the leather, not just on the surface, so when it's cut, it's the same color inside.  All my kangaroo lace products up for auction are dyed this way. This leather is great for braiding and craft projects.  It's renowned for it's suppleness and strength. Genuine Kangaroo leather thonging, tanned and processed in Australia. The wrapper on this one has been torn  on one end.  The leather lacing is new, it's never been taken out of the wrapper. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
