Description
SoATP Harvest Moon Ragpatch Treasures Presents the ~*Harvest Moon Vignette*~ and be sure to close the paragraph with --> For your consideration I have made this Harvest Moon Vignette. "You would laugh too, it you had seen what the Moon saw on Halloween." It consist of the Laughing Moon, 5 witches dancing around a jack-o-lantern filled with witches brew and a bat. This Harvest Moon Vignette is mounted on a styrofoam board that measures 13" wide and 20" across. I have covered the board with green dried moss and I have built up the fire pit with styrofoam and brown dried moss. Each of the witches standing place consist of a dowel on which you will place the witch. Their hands are stained pipe cleaners so that you will bend their hands to "hold hands" with the adjoining witch. The Harvest Moon is made from coffee/vanilla stained muslin and mounted on a vintage textile bobbin. He is painted in a gold colorwash. I have drawn his face in artists pencils to give him a soft appearance. I then sealed his face so it won't rub off. I have attached rusty stars to the base and above. He has a cheesecloth bow and the hangtag. The Moon is 20" tall which is the tallest part of the vignette. The pumpkin is made from stained muslin also. It is colorwashed in a pumpkin color and the facial features are penciled and sealed. The jack-o-lantern is hollow inside and holds polyfill to diplict hot steam rising out of the "boiling pot". Underneath the jack-o-lantern, I have placed a flicker tea light for the "fire". It looks so real in a dim lighting. And, now, let me introduce the "girls". Helga Asmeralda Sarafina Stephinia Dorthia And, let's not forget: Miss Bat The ladies are made of stained and painted muslin. Each has on a painted black hat and capes. They are decorated differently and all have a different facial expression. They have arms and have stained pipe cleaners for their hands which loop into each other to "hold hands" as they suposedly dance around the brewing pot. They are mounted on a spindle which sits down over a dowel on the moss board. The bat is painted muslin also and is mounted on a fabric covered wire and is inserted into the pot to give an in flight look. This is a one of a kind original vignette made entirely by me and will come to your home for display, signed and dated. Buyer is to pay all shipping costs.
