This old fashioned Santa Claus Christmas Stocking was made for this year (2008). It features an olde antique Santa on his walk through the snowy woods. He carries a lantern and has a walking stick. There are trees in the background. Santa also has his bag full of toys on his back. There is a teddy bear, doll, dog, candy cane, and more. This was a counted cross stitch kit that I hand stitched. It has DMC cotton floss, and gold and silver metallic braid along Santa’s coat and hat. There is also yellow metallic in Santa’s lantern. It is trimmed in ruffled green lace at the top and toe. There is also a ruffled green lace loop for easy hanging. Attached to the loop is a red felt tag that you can personalize (this is easily done with fabric paint or embroidery). The back is the same color red felt as the tag. The inside is lined on the stitching side with lightweight pellon so that none of the stitches will be pulled out or injured while using the stocking. It’s also nice and smooth and looks good too. Entire stocking measures 16 ½” diagonally (not counting loop hanger). Spot or dry clean only. If you have any questions, please ask.
