For more interesting facts, I give the internet connection as follows: http://www.thomaspointlighthouse.org/tours.asp The colors of  the shams are as follows:  For the front, the background is a medium blue tiny print, with plain white and dark blue inner border. The cute little lighthouse is patched in shades of gold, black, white, russet-brown  and tan.  The hand stitching can be seen on the inner plain white liner. The back fabric is a lighter blue version of the front.  There is a hand sewn  Donna Sharp 2007 signature with copyright symbol. The opening of the shams on the reverse are closed with machine applied zippers. I believe some machine stitching would also be used in the joining of the front and back pieces, but I am no quilt expert. These shams caught my eye because of the uniqueness of the Thomas Shoals Lighthouse, the lay out of the colors, and the fact that there were 4, which would look great on a large bed, sofa or as separate wall hangings.  Donna Sharp is a Kentucky native, from several generations of quilters.       Check out my other items!
