A genuine scrap quilt made entirely of recycled and cast off fabric. Project leftovers, upholstery samples, old clothes, bedding, table linens, even the occasional wash cloth. It is sewn entirely on a White treadle sewing machine built in 1900. It is batted with a cotton thermal blanket. Although this absolutely one of a kind quilt is built with Amish methods, it is not at all an Amish look. Alternating zig zag stripes are a rich cream colored brocade upholstery fabric alternating with multi colored rows. The quilt looks at once elegant and festive. With two matching pillow slips it is not your grandma’s bed. Size Full (105 x 74) Constructed of 736 triangles. The quilt and pillow slips are both backed with a light yellow/tan cotton sheet. NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN’S SLEEPWEAR. Washing instructions: It a couple hundred of different kinds of fabrics. Best if you never wash it.
