The DVD is very detailed, and has almost 200 excellent photo slides to back up each step that he explains carefully, in order to make an 1800's Valentine. He explains all the tools needed (I enclose a special printed list of the items that Bill suggests with the DVD), the design process, how to measure to create the design, how to make the dividers, how to place shells, how to make templates and figure out designs and placement, how to make shell flowers and how to do lettering in shells! He basically includes everything that you need to know. Both the beginner and the experienced shell artist will learn something new. He uses humor and very plain language throughout the DVD.
