Description
Dewberry, One Stroke Glass Painting CrafterBusiness Firesale Due To Illness, Great Savings! I wanted to learn to paint on glass but I was only going to make the investment if I could find a way to make it at least pay for itself, if not make a little extra cash. So I attended many little local arts and crafts fairs (the VFW, the local high school, churches, etc.). They were very inexpensive to get a space in and all you needed was a table and a chair. I saw some hand painted glass, almost entirely clear glass and it seemed to be getting a good bit of attention from the buyers. However, I never saw more than one person selling hand painted glass at any one show, which told me that the craft was not over run with crafters trying to sell their wares. So I took the plunge and invested a good bit of money into Donna Dewberry books, DVDs, brushes, paint and inexpensive glass ware that had good surfaces to paint on. However, I decided I wanted to be different from the others and only bought a little bit of clear glass. Mostly I sought out reasonably priced vintage and contemporary glass in many great colors. I got off to a good start and learned very quickly with Donna. I even made a little money at each craft fair. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with depression, which has curtailed my ability to continue. Therefore, I am selling my entire investment from soup to nuts at a huge discount from what I paid for it. There’s so much it will take a few large boxes to ship, but I think it could be reasonably shipped via Parcel Post and I would not charge anything for the packing materials. So please take a look and see if you’d like to take the plunge and save a ton of money at the same time. All of what is listed are new, like new or lightly used. I didn’t get too terribly far into the biz before I got the bad news, so I’ve noted the quality for each item and what I paid for it retail, just to give you a sense of value.
