Piece measures 44" wide by 44" long. It is machine made and machine quilted, and includes a sleeve on the back for hanging. A quilt in this color is perfect for a young lady in her 'purple phase'. I have another perfect purple young lady's quilt in my store - please take a look! Purple Diamond Quilt Created in May 2004. It is signed and dated by me. "Carre Violet, or Purple Square" is one of my Dazzling Diamonds series quilts. This sample of Dazzling Diamonds was created for Lakehouse Dry Goods fabric company with a line of fabric called Les Grand Fleurs. The beautiful featured flowers are lovely shades of light and dark purple with touches of pink and green. Checks, stripes, dots, rosebuds and petals round out the selection of beautiful fabrics. This quilt is extensively quilted with allover swirls . All quilting is done free-motion, with no marking. The back of the quilt is a single piece of the green frosted dot fabric. The label is hand signed. The materials, time and workmanship in this piece would place it's value in the $300-$350 range; fabrics and materials alone would be about $50-$60.
