The fibers have been washed, dyed, and picked together. Champagne is the very lightest of off white color. I find the color 'white' to be too loud to use with other colors, generally. Champagne is the answer. Her light color is accepting of all other colors even natural colors. She makes a perfect backgroud for other colors to stand out against. Of course she she is a good choice if you want an almost white but not a loud white. The slight traces of angora give Champagne a touch of accent color to keep her from being monotone. Use champagne anywhere with most any colors.  In the pictures of Champagne's blend I added a wisp of white wool for comparison.
