This is the last Bernina Artista 640E that I have at my disposal.  When this one is gone, I may not have another one for quite awhile. This machine and embroidery module are worth app. $6000. It is identical to my own machine/ embroidery system by Bernina. I have had mine for approximately 6 months and absolutely love it!! I just had it checked, cleaned, and serviced in the last 24 hours! I have every Bernina I sell, cleaned, serviced, and checked prior to listing - there was and is absolutely nothing wrong with it! Ther servicing alone is a $100 value!! The 640 is a 9mm machine which allows you to sew narrow and wide stitches, both decorative and functional. The fact that this is a 9mm machine also gives you an automatic thread cutter, multi-directional stitching, and a number of multi-directional decorative stitches! The machine has 570 total stitches! The optional embroidery unit is included with this machine, in this auction, with two hoops - the large and medium. Also included are the templates to help you center and align items. To use the embroidery module, just slide it on the machine, plug it in, and select stitches from the machine itself, modify them, combine them, and do much more. This machine is capable of accepting a USB stick. The 640 is equipped to use the Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR), not included. I can get a BSR if you'd like one.
