My Ashford products are all new in the box or package, unless specified otherwise. I am an avid spinner and love exploring different fibers, mixing fibers, spinning novelty yarns and experimenting with natural and other dyes and dying methods.  This is a brand new Ashford Traditional spinning wheel. The Traditional spinning wheel is the world's most popular spinning wheel and is expertly hand crafted from silver beech in New Zealand. It is one of the easiest wheels to use when learning to spin.   It has Scotch Tension for soft and novelty yarns with separate adjustment of drive band and bobbin brake.   This is an unfinished single drive Traditional spinning wheel that is 34 " high, 31" long and 14" wide, and weieghs 17.5 pounds. It can also be purchased with Ashford wax to give it a natural finish, or lacquered for an additional fee. Ashford also makes double drive, and left handed wheels. If you are interested in either of these I will be happy to list one for you.   The Wheel diameter is 22", and the orifice measures 3/8". It has a bobbin capacity of 100 gm or 3-4 ounces.
