Simply remove the top center block, move the others up and then place the removed one back into the bottom. Another advantage is that any block can become your center block saving wear on all of them. The kit consists of eight 5-1/2 inch square blocks 2" high and two 'half' blocks to create the ninth. This allows more versitility and the ability to move your pattern up sooner . With an extra block you can remove your block with the pattern and work in progress and have a clear pillow for a class or additional project. This is the hard to find self-healing foam that lacemakers covet. You do need to cover the blocks with a cotton material {not included} prior to using it. Cover both sides and the pillow will last a life time. The blockt come with a 1/8 inch hardboard (Masonite©) base with plastic edges to hold the blocks in place. Extra blocks are $2.00 each. These will ship with the foam pillow at no additional charge.  Winning bidder can also upgrade to a set of 8-1/4" x 5-1/2" center blocks for a wider pillow for an additional $2.50 or a set of 11" x 5-1/2" center blocks for an additional $5.00.  No additional charge for wider base.  Extra blocks are $3.00 and $3.75 respectivly.
