Description
Hi, it’s “Tidy Time” in my corner again and this auction is for a bit over 3 POUNDS of individually wrapped polymer clay cane ENDS, 76 pieces. Seeings as how the package is a hair over 3 pounds and that goofs up the shipping charges (ups it to 4 pound charge) I’m going to add a bag of cane SCRAPS that you can use to make a “chop log” for Natasha beads or use it to smunch together for base beads or doll forms etc. As I make my canes I keep “cleaning up” my cane by cutting the ends off and this what I cut off. You can definitely get a couple of perfect slices off each at the very least. You can use several of the imperfect slices and make a “collage” to cover journal covers, mirrors, light switch plates, napkin rings, eggs votives, or clay fabric “sheets” etc. For a unique effect add little pieces of gold foil or a few sprinkles of fine embossing powder to your piece BEFORE you smooth it down (just make sure you use a sealer like Future floor wax to seal in the foil or powder after baking and sanding). And… the rest of each cane can be chopped up and formed into a log or loaf and use the slices from it to cover objects, pens, make Natasha beads, Mirror image beads, Swirl Lentil beads or use them to make base beads. I love to take about 4-5 different loafs and squash them together to form a square log, then use my RIPPLE or WAVE BLADE and slice through the square (about a ¼” thick slice) and then run that slice through the pasta machine for a spectacular interesting pattern. You might get tired of this purchase before you run out! OR… cut an end lengthwise and run it through the pasta machine for great sheet. Each grid line on the green grid in the photo is 1 inch, so you can judge the length and widths of the pieces. Everything is made from Sculpey III, Studio and Premo clay. Bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes as per manufacturers directions. (I bake mine at 265 degrees for 18 minutes). They are all fresh (not crumbly) and all the ENDS are individually wrapped in plastic wrap that won‘t react with clay, keep stored out of heat and sunshine and they’ll last for years! Shipping in the U.S. ONLY will be a flat $7.00 for Priority Mail Postage (I’ll pick up any extra charges for you). INTERNATIONAL bidders please email me for shipping charges so you don‘t get shocked at the postal rates and I can‘t be responsible for any duty, customs or tariff charges if there are any! I don’t charge anything extra for filling out the forms for you, postal rates are high enough! THANKS for stopping by and looking!!! OH WAIT!!! Don’t let the low starting bid fool you, they are all cane ENDS from my normal high quality canes, I just didn’t have any idea on where to start the bidding.
