Efficacy: Prevents drying of the skin and development of wrinkles. Reduces degeneration of skin cells and restores skin flexibility. May enhance stability of certain emulsion systems.  In soaps, cocoa butter helps achieve a hard bar with stable lather and some conditioning properties.  When used in soap as a superfatting oil it acts to lay down a protective layer which holds the moisture to the skin, so it is an excellent skin softener. It has a natural chocolate scent. You can use it from anywhere about 1 ounce to a pound at trace, to 15% of your total base oils, depending on your preference.
