The jars are about 3.5 inches high. My guess is that they will hold 4 ounce candles. If you need larger or smaller quantities- please contact me. Each carton weighs 45 pounds so you can figure each jar is nearly a pound. The lids seal tightly so they are fine for gel candles as well. These jars are also adorable for beads, spices, pourri, bathsalts ect- your imagination is the only limit. I do have quite a few cartons of these jars- but once they are gone............. there will be no more! Don't let your Christmas gift making begin without several cartons of these! I will do everything in my power to help you save on shipping for multiple auction wins. Please note if you purchased these jars from me in the last lot They had smooth lids. The new ones are packed in larger boxes/quantities and have the words mostly memories in raised letters on the lids of the jars.
